SoftPrint

In older control systems, from around the middle of the 1990s and older, the documentation of events are normally carried out by printing them to a serial printer, E.g. via a Sequential Event Recorder or SCADA system. SoftPrint acts like a bridge to overcome this generation gap and now makes it possible to save such printing electronically in a standardized computer environment.

SoftPrint is a Windows® program, developed by Fyndlagret ELENGCO AB, which reads ASCII data in RS-232 format on the Com port and stores the information automatically in a file.

SoftPrint can be run on all computers with Windows 95 or higher.
